Welcome to our Virtual Library!
Just as materials are selected and organized in our physical library, the online resources on this page have been selected to meet the needs of students and teachers! You may access these sites 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, before, during, and after school. Some of the sites may require usernames and passwords when using them at home...see Mrs. Rosheim or Mrs. Haynes if you need another copy of that information. I hope you can find the answers to your questions. Please let Mrs. Rosheim know if you have suggestions for additional resources.
Images and Photographs For Learning Experiences
Images For Your Projects
We know that the image feature in google is popular with students and teachers because it is so easy to use. But the truth is that most of the images found on google are protected by copyright and require permission. Librarians often call google images the “shark tank” of copyright. Students need to be aware that giving credit is not the same as having permission to use an image. We recommend students and teachers try one of these “copyright friendly” sites instead. Be sure to pay attention to the “terms of use” for each of these sites. It can vary for each website and even for individual images within one website.
